About Me

I'm a web developer with skills in JavaScript, Python, Go, and other programming languages, as well as experience using web frameworks or libraries, such as Reactjs, Laravel, Django, and Jekyll. I’m an enthusiastic programmer, much of my free time is devoted to increasing my technical knowledge.

Also, I'm a student of chemical engineering at the USB, currently in the last semester.

Organized, disciplined and able to solve problems in stress situations are elements that make me stand out. Passionate about adventure sports and former president of the university hiking group 'Oikos'.

Work Experience

Software Developer - Avantica (2020 - Present)

Backend development of web applications, microservices, and integrations jobs on an agile development team for TruLocal, using: Golang, Couchbase DB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, gRPC, Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket.

Full-Stack Developer - Freelance (2018 - 2020)

I performed as a full-stack developer, taking temporary projects, at the employer’s convenience. During this time I had the following roles:

  • Review the code and documentation of other developers (Github and Bitbucket).
  • Write a clean and reusable code. (Visual Studio Code, Code Pen, Sand box)
  • Write code mostly in JavaScript and Python.
  • Work in a team using git-flow.
  • Deploy code to production constantly (Github-Pages, Heroku, Docker y Glitch).

Teacher Assistant - Simon Bolivar University (2018 - 2019)

At the laboratory course of transport phenomena, where some of the topics addressed were: Beds fluidization, Nonstationary heat conduction, Calibration of flow meters and thermocouples, among others. I was In charge of the assembly and explanation of the experiences for the students of the course, and the implementation and correction of exams for each practice session.

Front-end Developer - Freelance (2017 - 2018)

I have work for clients around the world, and I did task as teamleader, solo projects, and colaborative works. Mainly programming in Javascript, CSS and HTML, with some tests in Python for backend connection. I acted as a code reviewer for other developers and I wrote clean and commented code myself.

Adventure guide - Climbing Venezuela CA (2016 - Present)

ClimbingVenezuela is a company with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to adventure activities and contact with nature. From the beginning, this organization recognizes that Venezuela is a country with great potential for adventure tourism because it has great scenery, ideal for practicing disciplines such as climbing, canyoning, hiking and related.

As responsible guides of these disciplines, we have trained, in both, the practical part of the activity and in the andragogy and pedagogy that this instruction requires, to achieve, safely, a successful understanding and enjoyment by the participants.
